Treasury Etiquette 101

We all know that every place has a set of unwritten "rules". The treasury on Etsy is no different. I am by no means an expert, but these are just some things I have noticed that make treasury life nicer.
  • If you are featured in a treasury, please comment! Not only is it wonderful to share your gratitude, but the treasury curator will know that you care and may feature you more often.
  • Go ahead and click! It is a good rule of thumb to help boost the treasury by clicking on a few items. The formula Etsy uses for treasury "hotness" is shrouded in mystery, but clicking on items seems to help.
  • Try to avoid Spamming - It is nice that someone liked your shop enough to feature you in a treasury. It can be off-putting if you start advertising your facebook, blog or other things in treasury comments.

  • The general consensus on this type of posting is.... don't do it.
